How it works

A pick'em entry is a parlay with a fixed payout. For an all-or-nothing entry, the break-even win rate per pick is the payout's n-th root inverted: a 3-pick at 6× needs each pick to win (1/6)^(1/3), about 55%. Flex entries pay on misses too, so the break-even is solved across every way the picks can land.

Compare that rate to the sportsbooks' price on the same prop. If the books make a side better than your break-even rate, that pick is pulling its weight.

Questions

How much does a PrizePicks entry pay?

It depends on the number of picks and the entry type. A Power Play pays only if every pick hits; a Flex Play pays a smaller amount with one miss (two on bigger entries). Choose PrizePicks, the entry type and the pick count above to see every payout.

Which DFS app pays the most?

It changes with the entry. Underdog's standard tables usually need a slightly lower win rate per pick than PrizePicks', so they pay a little better on the same number of picks, and Betr goes up to 10 picks. Pick each app above with the same entry and compare the break-even rate: the lower it is, the better the payout.

What win rate do I need on PrizePicks or Underdog?

For a standard entry each pick has to win more often than the break-even rate shown above. PrizePicks entries need about 54 to 58% per pick, the same as a -118 to -136 bet at a sportsbook; Underdog's tables need about 53.5 to 55.5%.

How do DK Pick6 and Sleeper pay?

DK Pick6 is peer-to-peer: the calculator shows its guaranteed payout for each pick count, and beating the rest of the field can pay more. Sleeper prices every pick with its own multiplier, and the entry pays those multipliers multiplied together, so enter the multiplier Sleeper shows on each pick.

Do goblins, demons and boosts change the payout?

Yes. Easier lines (PrizePicks goblins) lower the payout, harder ones (demons) raise it, and boosted picks change it too. Switch Lines to adjusted: on PrizePicks and Betr, enter the multiplier the app shows for your lineup; on Underdog and DK Pick6, enter each pick's multiplier.

Is a pick'em entry the same as a parlay?

Not quite. A sportsbook parlay pays the product of each leg's odds, so the price on every leg changes the payout. A pick'em entry pays a fixed multiplier for the number of picks, unless goblins, demons or adjusted picks change it. For sportsbook parlays, use Betravon's parlay calculator.

Are these the current payouts?

They are the payout tables Betravon uses on its own pick slip. Apps change them from time to time and some states differ, so the app's own number before you submit is the final word.
