Betravon ("we," "us," or "our") operates betravon.com and the Betravon iOS app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information. By using our Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. When you sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email address you choose to share, which may be a private relay address. When you sign in by email, we receive the email address you enter.
- Pick selections: Props you add to your picks tracker, the outcomes recorded for them, and any stake amounts you enter.
- Betting preferences: The sportsbooks you tell us you use and, if you use the bankroll tools, the bankroll figures, deposits, withdrawals and adjustments you enter. These are numbers you type in. We never connect to a sportsbook or bank account.
- Subscription data: Billing information is handled by Stripe for subscriptions started on our website and by Apple for purchases made in the iOS app. RevenueCat tells us whether an in-app subscription is active. We do not store full credit card numbers.
- Push notifications (iOS app): If you allow notifications, we store the device token Apple issues for your device and your alert preferences, so we can send the alerts you asked for. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.
- Email digest: If you subscribe to the daily digest, we store your email address and sport preferences until you unsubscribe.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, sport tabs clicked, and time spent on the Service.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and IP address.
- Approximate location: We derive your country, state or region, and city from your IP address to suggest which sportsbooks operate where you are. It is used for that request only and is not stored.
- Cookies and local storage: We use session cookies for authentication and localStorage for caching prop data and remembering display settings. In the iOS app, your sign-in token is kept in the device's secure storage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Information from third parties
- Sports data: Player stats, odds, and prop lines from PrizePicks, ESPN, and other data providers. This data is not personally identifiable.
- Authentication: Google or Apple provides basic profile information when you sign in with them.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service, including displaying props, game logs, and your picks history.
- To process your subscription and send billing-related communications.
- To send transactional emails (sign-in codes and links, billing notices). We do not send marketing email without your consent. The daily digest is sent only if you subscribe to it, and every issue carries an unsubscribe link.
- To send the push notifications you have turned on in the iOS app.
- To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service. We do not sell individual usage data.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Vercel (hosting and website analytics), Upstash and Supabase (data storage), Stripe (website payments), Apple (sign-in, in-app purchases and push notification delivery), RevenueCat (in-app subscription status), Google (sign-in), and Resend (email delivery). Each operates under their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request, we may disclose information as necessary.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- Aggregate analytics: We may share non-identifiable, aggregated data (e.g., "NBA is the most-viewed sport") with the public or partners.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Pick history is kept for 90 days after you last change it, and bankroll entries for 12 months after you last change them. A daily digest subscription is kept until you unsubscribe, or for up to 24 months without changes. Push notification device tokens are kept until you delete your account. Usage data is retained for up to 24 months. You may delete your account or request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, secure session management via NextAuth, and access controls on our databases. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
Betravon is intended for users 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at the address below if you believe this has occurred.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated personal data.
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out: You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
You can delete your account yourself at any time from the Account page, on the website or in the iOS app. Deleting it removes your account and the information described in Section 1, and cancels a subscription started on our website. A subscription bought through Apple is not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings.

8. Cookies
We use the following cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential cookies: Required for authentication and session management (NextAuth session cookie). Cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.
- Analytics: On the website, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights collect anonymized page view and performance data without setting cookies. No personal identifiers are included. Neither runs in the iOS app.
We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. You can control cookie settings via your browser, though disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.
9. Third-Party Links
The Service contains links to sportsbooks and data providers (DraftKings, FanDuel, PrizePicks, etc.). These sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Clicking "OVER" or "UNDER" buttons on our platform will take you to those third-party sites.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, sending an email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
